"Oh, by gosh, by golly, It's time for mistletoe and holly, tasty pheasants, Christmas presents, countryside's covered with snow"...

As I am sure many of you are starting to think about Christmas shopping this year - why not consider shopping locally. We enjoy nothing more than buying from our incredible selection of independent businesses, local artisans, butchers, bakers, farm shops and green grocers. It's not just an ethical choice, you will often find that items made locally aren't available elsewhere so you can find unique and precious gifts.
To help you we have put together a small selection of what the Lake District has to offer and hopefully it will inspire you to spend your money with those who’ll appreciate it most.
